It was a night to remember as we, the members of Gamelan Club came together for a night of enjoyment, Annual Grand Dinner 2011. It was a huge success for us the junior as well as a first-timer organizing this event for our beloved senioritas.

          Gamelan Annual Grand Dinner Project Manager Nur Athirah Mohamad Hatta, a first year TESL student hoped that the event will bring us the senior and junior closer than before. The organization committee members consisted of students from different faculty but we manage to work together as a team. To ensure that the event went smoothly, it is important that everyone knows their role.


          At about 8.30 p.m. the guests were starting to arrive. Everybody looked so gorgeous and handsome with their retro-metro attire.





 At about 9 p.m., the night officially begins! We were entertained by the emcee of the night, Nafeesa and with her never-ending pantuns. Hehe.




          The most anticipating moment and highlight for that night – Best Dress Winner! Up to 6 people were shortlisted for the Best Dress Winners. The finalists were then required to do a catwalk and do a lil’ bit of performance.


          The winner goes to …… *drum rolls*…….. Iezad Rushdan (our ex-president Gamelan Club) and our beloved senior, Jannatun Niza.



          There were also lucky draws, few games as well as the announcement of new Gamelan Club Organization Board. Congrats to those that has been chosen to be in the new board. Work hard, play hard, plan more events and let’s bring IIUM Gamelan Club to the next level. Insyaallah :)

Thanks again to committees and everyone who involved especially to Creative Production team who worked very hard to get the video done in time. Selamat Hari Raya :)
