Gema Gangsa in The House!

Assalamualaikum peeps. it's been awhile, isn't it? actually, last two months, we were busy preparing for the World Gamelan Competition. The competition was held at Terengganu in two days, started on 20 April. Among 20 groups that registered for the competition, only 13 groups have got the chance to participate. Alhamdulillah, we were one of them.

The competition was the second competition organized by the government of Terengganu in order to create a new dimension to uphold the  art of Malay gamelan to a higher level in the various genres of rhythm and new compositions. Each groups need to play two songs which were traditional and creative. As for traditional category, we played Perang Manggong while for the creative category, Cari-cari Cuba Kau Cari was a chosen song. Cari-cari cuba Kau Cari is a song composed by our teacher, known as Cikgu Ku Zahir.

And Alhamdulillah. Praise only to Him. We've got the first place in the competition. Thanks for all the supports and dua's. Thanks for everything guys! Go Gamelan! Go! let's cherish the traditional. XD
