On 15th of April 2016, Ensemble of Gamelan was held at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Tronoh, Perak as the host. We did not participate this time as it clashed with other event at IIUM. We thanked Sanggar Kirana for their kindness inviting us as a penonton to the event.

Although we were not one of the participants, our alumni did take part (with other alumni as well) and formed Badarsila.

A proposal to hold Gamelan's Recital was proposed by Cikgu Ku Zahir, our advisor and on 14th of April 2016 we had one by the name of Mini Recital 1.0!

The objectives of this event are to give an exposure to our new members (we called them SuJu) to perform in front of others as well as a platform to learn from the seniors.

The first performance by SuJu presented us with traditional gamelan songs - Timang Burung, Topeng, Togok and Nongga & Lantai Lima. Next, we have the second generation, Juju with Cikgu Ku Zahir's creative song - Can Doh Gong. Last but not least was the performance by Seniorita Team, also presenting Cikgu's song which had won the first place in Pertandingan Gamelan Kebangsaan Terengganu 2013 - Cari cari Cuba Kau Cari (YouTube link).

After all performances, Cikgu as the jury commented and corrected our performances for improvement. The focus was, of course, on the Suju. The comments include how to tackle the audiences, starting and ending of a performance and many more.

We hoped that this event will have a great turnout for our next performances.

10/4/2016, Ahad. Program kali ini dinamakan Kalumpang 2.0 kerana Family Day sebelum ini juga telah dibuat di Kalumpang. Jadi ini merupakan kali kedua kami ber-Kalumpang bersama family Gema Gangsa. Aktiviti yang dijalankan semestinya berendam, ber-bbq, main game dalam air/sambil bbq, terjun, dan berendam semula. Dipendekkan cerita -apa-apa pun aktiviti yang objektifnya ialah mengeratkan bonding sesama ahli keluarga.

Cuma pada kali ini, kami membuat keputusan untuk menggunakan bas UIA. Sebelum ini, kami menaiki kereta masing-masing secara carpool. Antara sebab-musababnya, ahli keluarga kami sudah semakin ramai hampir dua kali ganda. Jadi, penggunaan bas lebih efisyen. Tepat pukul 8.30 pagi, dua buah bas serta kereta Cikgu Ku Zahir dan family bergerak dari UIA ke Kalumpang.

Nak dijadikan cerita, satu daripada bas yang kami naiki,  boleh pula aircond-nya rosak. Memang berpanas dan berpeluh sampai ke Langat. Selepas itu, bas tidak boleh masuk ke dalam kerana jalannya kecil dan akan menyebabkan susah untuk u-turn. Maka, kami dijemput oleh pihak Kalumpang menggunakan lori. First time naik lori ramai-ramai semua teruja walaupun cuma lori!

Malangnya, satu lagi cubaan mendatang. Lori kami rosak di tengah jalan sebelum sampai ke tempat bermandi-manda. Clutch tak dapat masuk. Macam-macam hal. Maka orang Kalumpang  telah menjemput kami naik Hilux dari tempat lori rosak sampai ke tempat mandi-manda. Boleh tahan trip kali ini naik tiga jenis kenderaan :p
