Assalamualaikum and hello again!
Great to see all of you doing well and in a good state of health :)
Its been a while this blog has not been updated recently. Within that period of time, a lot of exciting things and activities happened among the Gamelan Gema Gangsa family.
A few weeks ago on 15th April 2017, CiTRA IIUM had been selected to perform during the National 'Kongres Budaya' at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The clubs that were lucky enough to show off their musical talents were IIUM Acoustic Band, IIUM Percussion Club, IIUM Andeka Caklempong, IIUM Nasyeed Club and of course the IIUM Gamelan Gema Gangsa ^_^
The peak of our performance was during the 'Budi Tamadun Kita' song because it was the main theme of the congress.
Among the VIPs that attended the congress was Y.A.B Dato' Seri Najib, our prime minister and Y.B Tan Sri Datuk Rais Yatim, President of IIUM.
